Tamina reflects on The Rock gifting her a new house, talks wanting to join The Bloodline

In June 2022, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson presented Tamina with a new home and she dove into how much that means to her

Tamina speaks about how much her family means to her.

Last month, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson shared a video of him surprising WWE’s Tamina by walking her into her new home.

Tamina became emotional once she realized what was happening. She further dove into that on ‘Out of Character with Ryan Satin’ and what her family means to her. Tamina started off by speaking about her children being her primary source of motivation and giving her a reason to keep pushing forward.

She added that The Rock has always been caring and loving. She did not know he was going to set the entire house up and would have been fine with just the house and moving her belongings and furniture in over time.

I’m walking and already I’m getting emotional because the house is beautiful, right? Then I look up and I just see on the wall… the pictures of my daughters… and so… if anybody can know, my kids, I think I’ve told it to you before, those are my true loves. Those are the ones like, you know when you’re tired and you’re having to get up and you’re having to lose the weight and you’re having to work out triple the times just to make sure you’re in that tip top shape or you’re in where you need to be to be that superstar. You’re tired, you know? You’re getting up at 5 AM just to get on the cardio machine for 45 minutes and you go back to sleep but then you have to get back up again at 12 and you have to do it again at 6 PM. You know, this is the schedule of how we work and it’s worse for maybe some others too but I’m just trying to say that it’s hard, sometimes you wanna quit. Sometimes you wanna stop, sometimes you don’t wanna get up at 5 AM every morning just to get on that cardio machine. But the one great thing, I had a master trainer at the time who was telling me is that all you have to do is sit there and think is, ‘What’s gonna push you? And what’s gonna make you want to get up? And what’s gonna make you keep working hard to be able to do that?’ Every freaking time bro and I’m not kidding, every freaking time, I just wanted to stop. I still had five sets to go or I still had five reps to hit. I was exhausted, I was tired. But then all you think about is my kids and I’m not kidding bro, I would just kick in and I would just go. So you can’t sit there and think of what’s gonna push you and what’s gonna give you that fire to push through and no matter what, ain’t nobody can tell you can stop, no one can tell you can’t do anything because that was how much love I had for my kids and for myself. No, I’m gonna get up and I’m gonna do it because they depend on me. That’s why. That’s why I broke down that way that I did because I was grateful and I was happy. This was a place of love, you know? So like… because it’s a house of love and that was why. Seeing my kids on the wall, hell yeah. This is why I do what I do. I do it for my family, I do it for the love of entertainment. I love what I do. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be doing it.

I was standing outside the driveway and he [Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson] wouldn’t let me come in. He said to wait and I said ‘okay’ and so then as soon as — it was my aunt, she drove me up to the house and then I came up the driveway and he walks out and that’s how this happened. He says, ‘Okay, come on in’ and he covered my eyes and that’s where you see it, exactly like that.

Not the sense of the way that he was setting this all up, no. I did not know that he was gonna do it like this. There was no freaking way that this was gonna happen like this. You know, me, I’d be like, yeah, here you go, here’s your house. Hell yeah, I’d go and do that whole get the Chinese food, sit on the floor, you know what I mean? Sleep on the sleeping bag. I’m down with that too. I would’ve just been happy in an empty house [Tamina laughed]. I got it, don’t worry. I’ll go get my furniture. I’ll slowly move in.

But on that note bro, for real, he has done something because that’s just his heart. Dwayne’s always been that way and ever since we’ve been young, this is all I’ve ever known him to be. He’s always been that loving, giving person and not a lot of people get to see that side of him, you know what I’m saying? Nobody ever gets to see that side but this man has gone above and beyond for me more than I can even imagine. For anybody to even imagine what he’s done for me and so like, that’s my brother. That’s my… [Tamina paused because she got emotional] my God, that’s my bro. I love that man. He’s ite [she laughed].

Tamina is family with Roman Reigns, Jimmy and Jey Uso. The trio of Reigns and The Usos are known as The Bloodline on WWE TV and Tamina said she’d love to be a part of it.

Uh, yes! I think anybody would like to join that Bloodline. I mean, that’s it right there. See it, that’s our power, our culture, that’s what they’re about, you know? Yeah, I would love to join The Bloodline. Sometimes there’s some things you just gotta wait on the timing. We talk about that timing, you know? Same with the Black Adam, it’s all about timing. Just never know because sometimes you get surprised out of nowhere so, you know how it is with us and WWE. They’re always keeping you on your feet.

The Bloodline were present on the 7/8 Friday Night SmackDown. All three members are going to be defending their championships at SummerSlam as Reigns will defend against Brock Lesnar and The Usos are taking on The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins).
