A.Q.A. taking some time away from the sport.

In the midst of her fourth year as a pro wrestler, A.Q.A. is choosing to step away for the immediate future. She issued a statement through her social media platforms and thanked all who have supported her in any way and noted that she would not have been able to do what she has done without that support.

She added that for the past few years, both mentally and physically, she has not been in a good place with wrestling. She continued pushing forward but said continuing on only took the fun out of opportunities she had.

Near the conclusion of her statement, she thanked All Elite Wrestling, who she signed a deal with this past February. A.Q.A. had a total of seven matches for AEW and her debut bout was against Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship.

A.Q.A. signed with WWE in early 2021 but was released from the company later that year. To read her account of what led to her exit from WWE, click here.

As of this writing, her last match was against Athena at Warrior Wrestling’s June 18th event.
