Cora Jade addresses her attack on Roxanne Perez, throws NXT Women’s Tag belt in the trash

Cora Jade explains why she ambushed Roxanne Perez and then threw her NXT Women's Tag Team Title belt in the trash

Cora Jade says the belt means nothing to her now.

At the conclusion of the 7/12 NXT 2.0, Cora Jade attacked Roxanne Perez and cost her an opportunity to become NXT Women’s Champion. On tonight’s program, Jade explained why she ambushed Perez.

She stated that the crowd heralded her as the next breakout star of the brand but when Roxanne came along, all of that attention shifted and that label was placed onto Perez.

Jade went to the outside of the ring and stated that she and Roxanne being NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions means nothing to her, so she dropped her belt in the trash.

Jade and Perez won the belts earlier this month at Great American Bash. They ended Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne’s three month reign.
