He does not think he and Wyatt have wrestled their last match together.

The most recent match between Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins occurred in October of 2019 at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Wyatt, as his ‘Fiend’ persona, defeated Rollins to become Universal Champion.

That bout was a rematch from their Hell in a Cell match that Rollins is on-record saying he was not a fan of how it turned out. Rollins did express interest in working with Wyatt again during his interview with ‘Metro’.

He says there was a kinship there seeing as how they both felt their weren’t the ‘chosen one’. Rollins feels that he and Wyatt shared a bond in the struggle of having to constantly change and alter themselves on-screen.

I mean, I hope that’s not the last time him and I have been in a ring together, I truly do – and I don’t think it will be. It really depends on a lot of external factors. At the end of the day, I would love to get back in there with him and create magic once again.

We both had similar mindsets as far as always evolving our characters. Two completely different people outside of the business but there’s a kinship there when you share the ring with people that I think never really goes away.

One thing he and I always had was a little bit of a chip on our shoulder as far as, we were never the guy. We were never a Cena, we were never a Roman and so we couldn’t be static. We had to change, we had to evolve to be relevant constantly. There was always some sort of struggle, and there was a bond in that struggle that we always had – I think. We go in separate directions and do different things, but at the end of the day, there’s always a connection there.

Rollins is doing a variety of media interviews to promote SummerSlam on July 30th. He’ll be going one-on-one with Riddle at the event. Here’s the current lineup for the show:
