AEW owner Tony Khan has announced that the Death Before Dishonor event has gone straight into the top three Ring of Honor events in terms of pay-per-view buys.

Khan made the claim at a media scrum following the event, noting that the top two events were 2018’s All In, and the G1 Supercard in 2019.

He said that Supercard of Honor on April 1st this year had been in third place, but that spot had already been taken by last night’s show, which he said was nearing 25,000 buys.

Khan said (transcription courtesy of Fightful):

I know for sure that it is going to be one of the three biggest pay-per-views in the over 20-year history of Ring of Honor, even higher than Supercard of Honor, which was already one of the three biggest.

Now our two that we’ve done are two of the four biggest of all time along with Supercard at Madison Square Garden and All In. This is also in the top four attendance and is the highest attendance ever for a Ring of Honor show that is not at WrestleMania week.
