WWE has issued a press release confirming the appointments of Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon-Levesque as co-CEOs of WWE, as well as Paul Levesque overseeing the creative end.

WWE has issued a press release confirming the appointments of Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon-Levesque as co-CEOs of WWE, as well as Paul Levesque overseeing the creative end.

The announcement of their appointments was made on Friday after the announcement by Vince McMahon that he was “retiring”. McMahon had been the focus of an internal investigation by WWE’s board of directors regarding allegations of sexual misconduct that included multiple non-disclosure agreements signed by former women associated with the company.

The additional news item in today’s press release is that Paul Levesque will be overseeing creative in addition to his role as head of talent relations, a title he recently reclaimed.

STAMFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– WWE (NYSE: WWE) and its Board of Directors today announced the appointment of Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as co-Chief Executive Officers. Ms. McMahon has also been appointed Chairwoman of the Board, and Mr. Khan will continue to serve as a member of the Board. These appointments follow Vince McMahon’s retirement announcement on Friday, July 22.

Additionally, WWE executive Paul Levesque will assume all responsibilities related to WWE’s creative, in addition to his regular duties.
