In three weeks on August 16th on the USA Network, NXT is presenting their ‘Heatwave’ special and the first confirmed match for the event is Mandy Rose defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Zoey Stark. Stark returned to the ring on 7/19 and won a Battle Royal to earn the title opportunity.

Stark was in action on the 7/26 show and bested Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin. Post-match, Cora Jade attempted to ambush Stark but she was run off by the returning Roxanne Perez.

NXT Champion Bron Breakker agreed to defend his title against J.D. McDonagh at Heatwave. They are going to meet in a summit on August 2nd.

It is official that next week, Solo Sikoa is taking on Von Wagner in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

Closing out the July 26th episode was the D’Angelo Family (Tony D’Angelo, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) defeating Diamond Mine (Julius Creed, Roderick Strong, Brutus Creed & Damon Kemp).
