A report has Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view exceeding Supercard of Honor from this past April.

In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that this past Saturday’s event from Lowell is looking to have done around 36,100 buys – a breakdown provided lists 27,000 digital buys and 9,100 from traditional pay-per-view.

Those numbers would represent sizable increases over the April 2nd Supercard of Honor show held over WrestleMania weekend that generated 15,500 digital buys and 3,700 on traditional pay-per-view for a total of 19,200.

This past Saturday’s card was headlined by a two-of-three falls match between FTR and The Briscoes for the ROH tag titles and included Samoa Joe vs. Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham vs. Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta vs. Daniel Garcia.

ROH’s Death Before Dishonor had the advantage of regular television promotion on AEW programming over the past month, although was nowhere near the numbers generated by an AEW branded pay-per-view show.

ROH remains without a television or streaming deal, which owner Tony Khan has stated is the goal with a weekly program in mind for the brand.
