The NXT Women's Tag Team Titles are no longer vacant as Katana Chance and Kayden Carter are the new champions

The titles are no longer vacant.

Kicking off the August 2nd episode of NXT 2.0 was a four-way for the vacant NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. The teams competing in the bout were Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne), Tatum Paxley and Ivy Nile, Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon along with Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.

In the end, it came down to Toxic Attraction and Carter and Chance and the latter team got the victory to become champions.

This is Chance and Carter’s first title win(s) in WWE.

The Women’s Tag Titles were vacated after Cora Jade turned on Roxanne Perez and threw her NXT Tag Title belt in a trash can. WWE Hall of Famer Madusa (Alundra Blayze) appeared on NXT 2.0 to announce the four-way for the then-vacant belts.
