With Ilja Dragunov going down with an injury, the NXT UK Championship was vacated. A tournament is airing on NXT UK TV to crown a new champion and advancing to the semifinals on the 8/11 show were Oliver Carter and Trent Seven respectively. Carter picked up a win over Charlie Dempsey and in the main event, Trent Seven defeated Wolfgang.

Back on a July edition of NXT UK, Mark Coffey defeated Noam Dar to win the Heritage Cup trophy. Dar issued a challenge to Coffey for a rematch and Coffey accepted.
NXT 2.0’s Thea Hail made her in-ring debut for the UK brand and fell in defeat to Eliza Alexander.
