Names set for the outdoor show.
At New Japan Pro-Wrestling Business Strategy Presentation in early July, among the number of announcements was that on August 20th, the company is hosting a G1 Special event in Roppongi Hills at an outdoor venue.
The following talents have been confirmed for the event: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Togi Makabe, Tomoaki Honma, Master Wato, Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI, Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano, YOH, Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi, SANADA, BUSHI, Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr., Taichi, El Desperado, TAKA Michinoku, EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi, SHO, Gedo, Jeff Cobb, Great-O-Khan, Yuto Nakajima, Ryohei Oiwa and Akio Fujita.
Two days prior to the Roppongi Hills show is the finals of the 2022 G1 Climax tournament.
