WWE is set to release its second-quarter earnings report on Tuesday following several delays due to the discovery of unreported payments.
The company issued a press release on Monday afternoon stating that the earning report will be released on Tuesday, August 16th with a conference call with analysts scheduled for 8:30 a.m. ET.
The earnings report for the quarter was delayed after WWE noted the discovery of $19.6 million in unrecorded expenses by Vince McMahon, who resigned from the company last month amid these discoveries.
The unrecorded expenses required WWE to go back and redo their financial reports covering several years and were initially hoping to release the quarterly report last week but did note it might not be possible that quickly.
In last week’s SEC filing, WWE announced the latest unrecorded payments were discovered that totaled $5 million dollars from payments made in 2007 and 2009 by McMahon bringing the total unrecorded expenses to $19.6 million.
