A new member of United Empire is coming.

At today’s NJPW G1 Climax show, the finals of the tournament were determined. Kazuchika Okada bested Tama Tonga and Will Ospreay went on to defeat Tetsuya Naito. Okada and Ospreay are scheduled to go one-on-one on August 18th.

Post-match, Ospreay spoke to the press and revealed that a new member of United Empire is coming.

When I formed the United Empire with [Great] O-Khan, Jeff Cobb and Aaron Henare, along the way, we picked up [TJP], [Francesco] Akira and Aussie Open. Got one more coming as well. That’s a surprise.

TJP and Akira are the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions and Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) are the current and first-ever NJPW STRONG Tag Champions.

Ospreay later took to social media and noted that the kidney infection he was dealing with was almost fatal.
