Sam Gradwell issued a statement confirming his release from WWE among the NXT UK cuts.
Gradwell began wrestling in 2009 and was part of the inaugural 16-man tournament to crown the first NXT UK champion in January 2017. Gradwell beat Saxon Huxley on the first night and lost to Pete Dunne on the second night.
On Friday he posted a statement acknowledging his release and when his free agency begins:
