Xia Brookside (Xia-Louise Brooks) has confirmed her departure from WWE.

Brookside was among the many cuts at the NXT UK level and posted the following statement thanking Paul Levesque and WWE:

Brookside, the daughter of Robbie Brookside, entered the WWE in 2018 as part of that year’s Mae Young Classic where she lost to Io Shirai and signed in late August that year.

She joined the NXT UK roster and last wrestled at the tapings in June in London where she teamed with Eliza Alexander against Meiko Satomura & Sarray.

It was announced on Thursday that NXT UK is going on hiatus and will be shifting its branding to NXT Europe with a Worlds Collide event scheduled for Sunday, September 4th with talent from both NXT 2.0 and the former NXT UK.

This news coincided with many releases of talent on the UK brand.
