Bobby Fulton hospitalized with sepsis and double pneumonia

Fulton’s son made the announcement on his father’s social media account.

Bobby Fulton’s son has announced on his father’s Twitter account that the retired veteran of multiple territories has been hospitalized with sepsis and double pneumonia.

The 61-year-old, real name James Hines, has faced multiple health issues in recent years, including reverse total shoulder replacement surgery in December 2021, and a lengthy battle with throat cancer that was first diagnosed in 2019.

Asking for “prayers and positive vibes”, Fulton’s son Dillon posted the following message on his father’s Twitter account last night:

Came back to [North Carolina] for the weekend with dad, an hour out they had to rush him to hospital. They’ve pronounced that dad is [in] sepsis and has double pneumonia! Please keep him in your prayers thanks!

Fulton announced his retirement in the summer of 2020 after over 30 years in the professional wrestling business.

The Ohio native worked in many promotions during his career including Jim Crockett Promotions, the National Wrestling Alliance, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, and World Class Championship Wrestling.

We at POST Wrestling send Bobby Fulton our best wishes for a full recovery.
