Kento Miyahara wins Oudou Tournament, challenges Suwama next month

Kento Miyahara was victorious in the finals of All Japan’s Oudou tournament on Saturday to secure a Triple Crown match.

The semi-finals and final of the tournament took place on Saturday from Korakuen Hall in front of 820 fans, per Purolove.com.

Miyahara defeated Yuji Nagata in the semi-finals and led to a match with Jake Lee, who beat Takao Omori in the other semi-final contest.

Miyahara won the final using the Shutdown German Suplex in 22:04 and sets up a Triple Crown match next month.

The five-time holder of the Triple Crown, Miyahara, will challenge current champion Suwama on September 18th at Nippon Budokan.
