‘IGF’ is back as a management company.

It was formally announced that Antonio Inoki is reviving ‘IGF’ as a management company. ‘IGF’ was initially founded in 2007 and it was a pro wrestling and MMA promotion. Alumni of ‘IGF’ includes Bobby Lashley, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, Hideki Suzuki, Josh Barnett and Tatsumi Fujinami.

‘IGF’ now stands for ‘Inoki Genki Factory’. Inoki is going to be serving as an advisor. The company will be managing athletes, celebrities along with doing entertainment planning and advertising.

The new ‘IGF’ is looking into the idea of hosting pro wrestling and MMA events in the future as well.

When the return of the company was made public information, Hideki Suzuki and MMA fighter Shinya Aoki reacted to the news. Aoki noted that if anything comes of it, he’ll raise his hand to help as soon as possible.

For the past several years, Antonio Inoki has been in and out of hospitals. He was diagnosed with systemic transthyretin amyloidosis, which impairs blood circulation throughout the body. He admitted that there have been many close calls concerning his health.
