Wade Barrett has confirmed that he recently signed a new deal with WWE as part of the NXT broadcast team.
While speaking with WWE broadcast partner BT Sport, Barrett (Stu Bennett) noted that he just signed an extension to continue his role calling NXT 2.0 alongside Vic Joseph.

Barrett, 42, returned to the company in the summer of 2020 as part of the NXT broadcast team after previously working with the NWA on their commentary team.
Barrett first joined the company in 2007 when he reported to Ohio Valley Wrestling and was part of the first season of NXT in 2010, which he won and became the leader of Nexus.
Barrett is a five-time Intercontinental champion and won the King of the Ring in 2015. He has not wrestled in over six years.
