A sold-out crowd of 1,511 fans were at Korakuen Hall today for the first of two STARDOM 5 Star Grand Prix shows to take place this weekend.

At the beginning of the show, lots were drawn to determine the four stables that could enter wrestlers for the upcoming IWGP Women’s Title tournament. The successful stables were STARS, Queen’s Quest, Donna del Mondo, and Oedo Tai.

It was also announced via video message that former World of Stardom Champion Alpha Female will face British wrestler Ava White in the first round of the IWGP Women’s Title tournament, with the match to take place on October 2nd at NJPW Royal Quest in London.
