The go-home edition of Dynamite leading into All Out ranked second on cable with the show scoring its highest 18-49 audience in nearly two months.

The August 31st edition from the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates averaged 1,020,000 viewers and approximately 457,000 (0.35) in the 18-49 demographic, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

It was Dynamite’s highest demo figure since July 6th and a 3% increase from the previous week’s average. Overall viewership dropped by 3% from last week but was Dynamite’s second most-watched episode since June 29th.

In the 18-49 demo, male viewership was up by 9% and females dropped by 4%. In 12-34, males increased by 26% and females dropped by 12% compared with last week.

The show fell out of top placement among cable originals due to the U.S Open Tennis tournament featuring Serena Williams in action. ESPN’s coverage of the tournament did 0.51 in the key demo and 2,273,000 viewers. Dynamite beat out Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (0.30) and Fox News programming rounding out the top five cable programs.

Dynamite experienced a 9% increase among adults 18-34, its highest in that demo since August 3rd, and continues a trend that saw Raw and NXT 2.0 perform well in that same this week.

In Canada, the show dropped with 71,700 viewers and 34,600 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2, which were down 13% and 33.5% respectively from last week. For Wednesday, Dynamite finished ninth among sports programs, which were led by the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Chicago Cubs and U.S. Open Tennis coverage.

Wednesday’s episode featured the follow-up to Jon Moxley’s three-minute win over CM Punk last week and setting up the rematch for Sunday’s All Out event. The episode was headlined by Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks beating Will Ospreay & Aussie Open to advance to the finals of the Trios Championship tournament.
