Over the past several years, McIntyre and Fury have had exchanges through media interviews and on social media regarding a potential match between the two.
The 32-0-1 pro fighter made his wrestling in-ring debut for WWE in 2019 at Crown Jewel. He defeated Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman), who is returning to WWE and scheduled for the 9/5 Monday Night Raw, per report.
