Northeast Wrestling has posted an update that Malakai Black will be unable to wrestle this Friday.

The promotion stated Black’s inability to appear is “due to health issues” and will be replaced on Friday’s card by Jay Lethal and nZo. They did not elaborate on Black.

Black wrestled in a six-man tag at All Out this past Sunday alongside Brody King & Buddy Matthews and lost to Sting, Darby Allin & Miro with Black taking the fall.

After the match, Black gestured to the live audience by blowing a kiss and taking a bow.

At the post-show press conference, reporter Will Washington inquired about Black’s status, which Tony Khan would not comment on.

Brody King & Buddy Matthews wrestled on the AEW Dark Elevation taping on Wednesday in Buffalo with Julia Hart in their corner, but Black did not appear.
