Jerry Lawler has marked 10 years since he went into cardiac arrest during an episode of Monday Night Raw.

The incident happened on September 10th, 2012 in Montreal, Quebec.

Lawler was on commentary with Michael Cole when he began to “snore” loudly. As Cole continued calling the show, Lawler was rushed backstage for medical treatment.

Lawler made a full recovery and returned to Raw about three months after the incident. He and others close to him have described his survival as a miracle.

Today, the 72-year-old took to Twitter to mark the occasion, stating that he spent his “death day” anniversary wrestling at a state fair in Nashville.

The 2012 Raw show was advertised as ‘Pat Patterson Appreciation Night’ and was also notable for Bret Hart’s appearance in Montreal for the first time since the events of 1997.
