To close out the one-year anniversary edition of NXT 2.0, a gold and white logo appeared as it transitioned from the NXT 2.0 logo

Following Solo Sikoa besting Carmelo Hayes to become North American Champion, commentary threw to a video package that took a quick look at the past year of NXT 2.0.

Shawn Michaels did the voiceover for the video and at the end of it, he stated that they are always evolving which saw the NXT 2.0 logo transition into a white and gold NXT logo.

On September 14th, 2021, the ‘black and gold’ edition of NXT came to an end as the first episode of NXT 2.0 premiered.
