Before his 30th anniversary event, Yuji Nagata received an honor.

On September 11th, New Japan Pro-Wrestling celebrated 30 years of Yuji Nagata during their ‘Burning Spirit’ tour. In the main event, Nagata was defeated by Great-O-Khan.

Prior to the event, Nagata received a letter of appreciation from Chiba Chuo Police Department for his efforts in combating phone fraud. Nagata sent out video messages and discouraged the idea of committing crimes.

Nagata has been consistently working with All Japan Pro Wrestling. He made it to the semifinals of the 2022 Royal Road tournament. He’ll be in action on 9/18 at their 50th anniversary show.
