Mei Suruga is going to be replacing Abadon.

It had been announced that AEW’s Abadon would be making her Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling debut on September 16th. She was scheduled to go one-on-one with Moka Miyamoto.

That match is no longer taking place and Mei Suruga is filling in for Abadon. Tokyo Joshi Pro noted that Abadon’s entire visit to Japan has been canceled. She was originally scheduled to come over to wrestle at another show around the same time and it was later agreed upon that she would wrestle for TJPW as well.

There was an issue with obtaining a visa and TJPW had been trying to resolve that situation up until today.

Next month, Mei will be heading to Mexico for CMLL to compete in their Grand Prix de Amazonas event with Lady Frost and Alex Gracia among others.
