Two matches added to the Victory Road lineup.

To kick off tonight’s IMPACT Wrestling on AXS, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey successfully defended the X Division Championship for the eighth time. This title defense was against Mascara Dorada and post-match, the two shook hands but it was Kenny King who made his way into the ring to ambush Bailey.

Cameras later cut to Bailey who was backstage and he was informed that at Victory Road on September 23rd, he’ll be defending the X Division Title against Delirious.

In addition to Bailey’s title defense, the Triple Threat Revolver match is returning for Victory Road and Scott D’Amore stated that Trey Miguel, Kenny King, Black Taurus, Laredo Kid, Alex Zayne, Yuya Uemura, Mia Yim and Frankie Kazarian are competing in the match. Here are the rules for the Triple Threat Revolver:

Three competitors start the match. When one is pinned or submitted, another will enter the fray. The Triple Threat matches will continue until there are no more entrants, in which the final pinfall or submission will earn the victor a shot at the X-Division Championship!

This week’s IMPACT on AXS is going to be recapped in audio form on the Shot In The Dark show here on POST Wrestling.
