AEW Rampage stayed steady from last week with an increase in older viewership offsetting a loss among its 18-34 audience.

The September 16th edition from Anaheim averaged 470,000 viewers and approximately 183,000 (0.14) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

For the week, Rampage grew its overall audience by 10% while its 18-49 audience saw a minor adjustment from last week’s average of 181,000.

The big decline was among adults 18-34 which fell by 39% this week and was the show’s lowest amount in that demo since June. There was also a big drop among females 12-34 that went from 29,000 last week to 14,000.

Those losses were offset by adults 35-49 growing by 16% and adults 50+ increasing by 20% therefore, the overall viewership figure represented a spike from the week prior.

Rampage ranked #14 among cable originals airing against ESPN’s coverage of the college football game between Florida State and Louisville. The game averaged 2.75 million viewers and 0.77 in 18-49 and was easily the most-watched program on all of television on Friday.

The show was promoted around Samoa Joe defending the ROH Television Championship against Josh Woods and Darby Allin facing Matt Hardy in the two key matches.

This week’s edition of Rampage is a special two-hour show from Arthur Ashe Stadium and the strongest lineup for Rampage all year with the additional hour as it airs from 10 p.m. ET until Midnight.
