New Japan Pro Wrestling announced on Saturday morning that JONAH will not appear at Royal Quest II in London due to travel issues related to Hurricane Ian.

The 34-year-old was scheduled to take part in a tag match, teaming with Bad Dude Tito against the team of Kazuchika Okada & Tomohiro Ishii on night 1 of the two-day event tonight.

The Australian-born wrestler, formerly known as Bronson Reed in NXT, was then set to face Ishii again in a singles match tomorrow night.

JONAH took to Twitter to comment:

Sorry to all the fans attending. Everyone knows the UK is special for me and I love to wrestle there. It was out of my hands. Blame IAN! I was looking forward to stomping Mr potato head in front of you all! I’ll make sure I’m back in LONDON soon enough!

On its official website, NJPW apologized to fans and announced that JONAH’s place in tonight’s tag match would be taken by Zak Knight. Ishii will face an unnamed mystery opponent tomorrow.
