NXT North American Championship Ladder Match: Nathan Frazer vs. Oro Mensah vs. Wes Lee vs. Von Wagner (w/ Mr. Stone) vs. Carmelo Hayes
Trick Williams introduced Carmelo Hayes as he came out last. As soon as the match started, Wes Lee and Hayes head to the outside as Von Wagner corners both Nathan Frazer and Oro Mensah before he gets kicked out of the ring himself. Frazer takes out Wagner on the outside with a cross body off the top rope before he grabs a ladder. Mensah and Frazer take the ladder and attack Lee with it. Mensah knocks Hayes into the ladder, before getting knocked into it himself by Lee who then attacks Wagner in the corner with it. Wagner picked up Frazer and powerbombs him onto a ladder that was set up in the corner. Hayes took Mensah off the ropes with a springboard leg drop, falling on the ladder. Frazer hit a beautiful springboard Spanish Fly off the middle rope to Hayes on top of the ladder. Lee takes Wagner to the outside, before getting knocked out along with Hayes as Mensah sets a ladder up and starts climbing it. Trick Williams enters the ring and knocks Mensah off it falling on top of everybody on the outside. Mr. Stone enters the ring and starts climbing along with Trick, but gets knocked off of it and topples to the outside. Wagner uses the ladder and starts hitting everybody with it before grabbing another, a really larger one from under the ring and places it between the ring and the barricade. Wagner gets knocked on top of the ladder as Frazer comes crashing onto him and the ladder with a top rope frog splash.
Hayes takes out Mensah, bouncing off the barricade then gets taken out by a leaping Lee off the steel steps. This match is insane. Lee grabs another big ladder from under the ring and places it against the ring as Wagner sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring. Lee runs and climbs it, but Wagner takes him down and press slams him out of the ring and on top of the commentary table. Wagner starts climbing the ring, but Frazer meets him at the top and knocks Wagner down. Wagner grabs him and sends him against the barricade on the outside as Mensah takes them both out. Mensah and Frazer double-team Wagner and knock him over the barricade using a small ladder. Frazer and Mensah then race to the top of the ladder and duke it out until Mensah pushes Frazer off. Hayes gets involved with another ladder and knocks Mensah off and to the outside. Hayes goes to grab the title, but Lee knocks him off. Hayes and Lee keep battling on the ladders ending with Lee hitting Hayes with a double knee on top of the ladder before climbing it back up and grabbing the title.
Winner: Wes Lee at 19:18, to become NEW NXT North American Champion
The Haunted Trail
We see druids bringing the casket to the ring, before seeing Toxic Attraction pulling up the haunted trail where Alba Fyre asked to meet her. Jacy Jayne said she will stay in the car, but Mandy Rose and Gigi Dolan convince her to come out with them to look for Alba. They all grab flashlights and head into the trail and take out one of the ‘zombies’ in there. One of the doors opens as we hear Alba say ‘Mandy, come and play’. Mandy suggests to split up, as Jacy says that you’re never supposed to split up. Gigi tells Jacy to stop being scared as she loves Halloween. Mandy makes them split up as a statue comes to life and scares Jacy off. Jacy enters a room with a projector as Alba pops up behind her and takes her away. Gigi enters a dining room that has Chucky at the table and Gigi sits down with Chucky and a bunch of other ghouls. Alba shows up and slams Gigi head-first into the table as they start to fight with all the dinnerware around. Alba stuffs Gigi in a refrigerator and leaves her there. Mandy takes out someone dressed as an executioner before she starts playing with a piano. As she walks away, the piano starts playing by itself as Alba shows up in front of Mandy. They start fighting it out before Mandy takes her bat away from her but a pumpkin-headed guy takes it away from Mandy. Another guy tells Mandy not to fall into the nearby well. Alba stuffs Mandy into the car Toxic Attraction drove in as Jacy screams to not take her. Alba takes out Gigi and Jacy with the bat and drives away with Mandy in the car.
Casket Match: Grayson Waller vs. Apollo Crews
This is the 20th casket match in WWE history, the first one in NXT, 4th one to not include The Undertaker, and the first one since Undertaker vs. Rusev at the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018. As soon as the bell rings, they start brawling it out before Apollo Crews takes Grayson Waller down to the mat. They take it to the outside, as Crews dropkicks Waller onto the commentary table. Waller takes Vic Joseph’s pen and stabs Crews in the eye with it. They go back inside and on the top rope, but Waller thumbs Crews in the eye, and Crews goes crashing into the casket, destroying it. Waller tells the referee he should have won, but the referee explains that’s not the rules to win. The lights go out and when they come back on, Crews is gone. Crews shows up at the entrance as the druids bring in another casket. Crews tries to slam Waller in between the steel steps, but he escapes before Crews grabs him and takes out Waller on the outside with a Samoan drop. We see the new casket, which is much bigger as Crews tells the referee to open the lid. Crews attacks Waller in the corner and starts stomping him out before dropping Waller onto his knees. Crews tosses Waller into the casket, but Waller stops him from closing the lid. Waller starts slamming the lid on Crews, before tossing him in there, but Crews stops the lid from closing. They both start fighting in the casket, before Crews throws Waller out and hits a frog splash off the casket onto Waller. Crews runs the ropes, but Waller stops him with a stunner. Waller goes for a Tombstone, but Crews reverses it and drops Waller on his knees. Waller fights the lid from closing on him again, before Crews grabs him off the apron and hits him with a spinebuster, putting Waller back in the coffin and closing the lid for the win.
Winner: Apollo Crews at 12:58
The History of Halloween Havoc
We go to Chase U where Andre Chase is pleased at all the History of Halloween Havoc homework but gets upset at someone for not knowing the location of Halloween Havoc 1995. Chase announces the new transfer student in Duke Hudson, but Bodhi Hayward is not too happy about it. Hudson speaks kindly of the class, but Hayward isn’t happy about it. Chase asks who The Outsiders beat for the championship at Halloween Havoc 1996, as Hayward says incorrectly The Nasty Boys & The Steiners before Hudson answers correctly with Harlem Heat. Hayward tells Chase he’ll do better on Tuesday.
Who Will Walk Out As Champs?
We cut to Alba Fyre who is still driving with Mandy Rose in the back of the car before we go to McKenzie Mitchell and Pretty Deadly. McKenzie asks how confident they are in defending their titles this Tuesday against Malik Blade & Edris Enofe. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance step in as both teams argue about who walks out with their titles on Tuesday.
Weapons Wild Match: Cora Jade vs. Roxanne Perez
There are all types of weapons outside of the ring for this match as Roxanne Perez walks out with a trash can and pulls out a skateboard from inside. She faces off against Cora Jade who has her kendo stick as the match starts. They head to the outside where Jade throws trash can lids and a broom at Perez. Perez tries to attack Jade with the skateboard, but she takes it away from her. Perez places Jade on the skateboard and sends her to the outside on top of it, before diving onto Jade. Perez grabs a table from under the ring and sets it against the barricade. Perez finds Jade from under the ring, but Jade uses a spray can to Perez’s face. Booker T mentions Jade’s time in Freelance Wrestling. Jade stays in control using the weapons on the outside, including a bull rope on Perez. Jade tries to use a steel chain, but Perez dodges it and starts whipping Jade with the bull rope. They take it back inside, where Perez uses the kendo stick for a Russian Leg sweep as we get our first pin attempt of the night at 9:21 pm. Jade kicks out at two. They head to the top rope, where Jade hits a hurricanrana for a two count. They head to the perch area, where Jade rips off a side of the steel barrier. They fight off the edge of the perch and both come crashing down onto a table. They go back inside where Jade tells Perez she was never her friend, but Perez’s back body drops Jade onto a pile of chairs. Perez then says Jade was always her best friend, and hits her with Pop Rocks on top of the chairs and gets the pin for the win.
Winner: Roxanne Perez by pinfall at 12:25
The Return of Dijak(ovic)?
We see a dark and spooky video where someone is burning what looks to be T-BAR’s old Retribution mask. Could we be seeing the return of Dominik Dijakovic?
The Scream Queen
Shotzi makes her way to the ring dressed as Beetlejuice and talks about everything that’s happened tonight before introducing Quincy Elliott who is dressed as a banana. Lash Legend interrupts them but Elliott says ‘Lashing Out’ was canceled a long time ago and tells Legend to go back to the locker room. Legend says she has a problem with someone from SmackDown hosting this show and thinks she could do a better job herself. Elliott defends Shotzi, but Shotzi says she can handle it and takes out Legend.
Red Hoodie Will Reveal
We see the Schism backstage where they talk about people wearing masks all year long. Joe Gacy talks to the person in the red hoodie and says that this Tuesday they will reveal themselves. My guess is Isla Dawn, with Aoife Valkyrie being a secondary guess. They all placed yellow smiley face masks on their faces and definitely gave me Purge movie vibes.
Ambulance Match: Damon Kemp vs. Julius Creed
The other stipulation here is if Damon Kemp wins, then Julius Creed’s brother Brutus Creed must leave NXT. Kemp comes out swinging a chair with Julius’ name on it. Julius runs out and tosses pumpkins to Kemp before going right after him as the match officially starts. Right away they head to the back, as Creed tries to put Kemp into the ambulance, but he stops the door from closing by using a crutch. They take it back ringside, where Julius uses a fire extinguisher before Kemp knocks him into the commentary table and the steel steps. They go back to the ambulance but Julius kicks the door open as Kemp tries to shut it. They start fighting in and out of the ring with steel steps, including Kemp hitting Julius with a uranage before Kemp grabs a wheelchair, but Julius traps him in it using a crutch and slams him into the steel steps. They continue to fight using the fire extinguisher. They start using a stretcher, the ring table, and a small table before going back toward the ambulance. Kemp places Julius in a container and rolls it, smashing into the ambulance a couple of times. Kemp uses the ambulance door and smashes Julius’ hand with it a bunch of times, but Julius kicks the door down and goes after Kemp, crashing into some desk chairs and the catering table. Julius grabs a chair and chases Kemp back towards the ring, smacking Kemp’s back with it, over and over again. Julius grabs Kemp and power bombs through the stretcher that was ringside. Julius places the chair on Kemp and hits him with his forearm, before taking Kemp into the ambulance and shutting the door for the win.
Winner: Julius Creed at 14:10
Ivy Nile and Brutus Creed join Julius in the ring to celebrate with him. We cut to the ambulance leaving, as Alba Fyre is pulling in with Mandy Rose. Fyre goes to grab Rose, but she has escaped to the parking lot. They start fighting as they make their way into the building before making it ringside until the match can begin.
NXT Women’s Championship: Mandy Rose (c) vs. Alba Fyre
Alba Fyre goes right after Mandy Rose in the corner, but Rose is able to trip her up and take control. Fyre takes Rose down and climbs the top rope, but Rose knocks her off and to the outside. They fight on the outside as Booker T starts bringing up Rose’s time on Tough Enough before making some sort of ‘scowl’ Rocky reference that he himself was unsure of. They slug it out for a while inside the ring before Fyre starts hitting Rose with kicks, but Rose comes back with a spinebuster for a two-count. Fyre is able to reverse Rose and hits a death valley into a sit-out powerbomb for a two count before following with a Swanton Bomb. as the referee is about to count to three, Gigi Dolan and Jacy Jayne appear and pull him out. Jayne gets on the apron, but Fyre takes her out and she falls on the referee. Fyre hits a Gory Bomb on rose, but the referee isn’t available to make the count. Fyre goes to bring the referee back inside, but Gigi and Jayne take Fyre out with a double boot. Rose takes advantage of the distraction and hits Fyre with Kissed By The Rose for the pin and the win.
Winner: Mandy Rose by pinfall at 7:07, to retain

WWE NXT Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. JD McDonagh vs. Ilja Dragunov
Bron Breakker’s entrance is him taking a shovel to tombstones for JD McDonagh and Ilja Dragunov. The commentary brings up Breakker’s bad history in triple-threat matches. Breakker is wearing a very colorful Steiner Brothers-like neon singlet. Dragunov and Breakker both try to go after McDonagh but then get into each other’s faces before McDonagh takes them both down. McDonagh sends Dragunov to the outside before hitting a snap suplex on Breakker for a two. McDonagh and Dragunov go at it, with a standing moonsault from McDonagh for a two count. Breakker and McDonagh start fighting on the apron, but McDonagh twist dives back inside onto Dragunov. Breakker enters and starts attacking both men with suplexes. Breakker runs the ropes and takes Dragunov down with a shoulder tackle, but Dragunov comes from behind for a roll-up for a two. McDonagh gets knocked to the outside and orders Breakker to take Dragunov up, but Dragunov reverses it into a sleeper hold. Dragunov starts attacking McDonaugh with elbow drops, before going after Breakker in the corner with chops. McDonaugh tries the Devil Inside, but Dragunov blocks it and drops McDonaugh on top of Breakker in the corner. Dragunov then heads to the top rope and hits Breakker and McDonagh with Coast to Coast. Breakker and Dragunov punch each other down as McDonagh claps for both of them until they turn around and set their sights on McDonagh. They are eventually able to corner McDonagh and take turns punching him before tossing him to the outside. Dragunov and Breakker face off with Dragunov landing elbows and clotheslines, but Breakker comes back with one of his own. Breakker goes to press slam Dragunov, but McDonagh headbutts him down.
Breakker hits an amazing Franksteiner to McDonagh that Dragunov catches for a sit-out powerbomb. Breakker and Dragunov end up spilling to the outside where McDonagh goes right after them sitting an Asai Moonsault. They all head to the corner, where Dragunov grabs Breakker and hits a powerbomb for a two count as McDonagh follows that hitting a 450 splash on Dragunov for a two. All three men are slowly attacking each other while on the mat, as McDonagh for the third time tries the Devil Inside, but Dragunov reverses into a German Suplex. Dragunov holds on and hits another, as he goes for the third, Breakker gets behind and hits one of his own on both of them. Breakker heads to the top rope and hits the bulldog on Dragunov, followed by his power slam. McDonagh breaks it up and goes for the cover himself, but Dragunov kicks out at two. McDonagh and Breakker go face to face, but Breakker Irish Whips McDonagh to the outside. Breakker tries a spear on Dragunov, but he stops it with a knee. Dragunov heads to the top rope and hits a senton followed by Torpedo Moscow but McDonagh grabs the referee’s hand right before the three count. McDonagh and Dragunov go at it, with both spilling to the outside where Dragunov hits McDonagh with a running standing Spanish Fly. Holy shit. McDonagh goes to use a chair on Dragunov, but Dragunov stops him by hitting a Torpedo Moscow off the steps onto McDonagh. Dragunov rolls back into the ring where Breakker meets him and they go into a forearm exchange. Dragunov hits a German suplex and takes Breakker down with a clothesline. Dragunov goes for Torpedo Moscow again but Breakker stops him with a spear for the pin and the win.
