WWE Raw notes: Nikki Cross ambushes Bianca Belair & Damage CTRL, Brock Lesnar appearance, Candice LeRae injury

Nikki Cross takes out Damage CTRL & Bianca Belair, Brock Lesnar to appear on 10/31, Candice LeRae injured, Tommaso Ciampa update, Rhea Ripley

Nikki Cross is back on WWE programming and she is no longer sporting the mask and using the name ‘Nikki ASH’. She appeared during the main event between Bianca Belair and Bayley. The numbers game caught up to the Raw Women’s Champion as she had to deal with IYO SKY and Dakota Kai. Nikki dove onto them and took them out. She helped Bayley beat Bianca and then proceeded to ambush Bayley as well.

Brock Lesnar is scheduled to appear on the 10/31 Raw. He and Bobby Lashley will be going one-on-one at Crown Jewel later that week.

It was stated on commentary that Candice LeRae is sidelined with a shoulder injury after being ambushed by Damage CTRL. In that segment, LeRae being attacked by the group was not shown on camera.

During a segment involving Johnny Gargano and The Miz, Miz expressed his concerns about the whereabouts of Tommaso Ciampa, stating that he was missing. Gargano said he texted Ciampa and was informed that Ciampa is not missing and is hurt.

This led to a singles match between Miz and R-Truth. Truth got the victory when Miz was distracted by Gargano who was dressed as Dexter Lumis.

Before Finn Balor and Karl Anderson went one-on-one, AJ Styles addressed Dominik Mysterio who was in the ring with Judgment Day. Dominik said he is this generation’s Eddie Guerrero and Guerrero was his generation’s Dominik Mysterio. Styles called Dominik the equivalent of James Ellsworth and the former WWE talent reacted to that.

NWA’s Sal Rinauro was in action. He was one of four talents who lost to Omos.

As Karl Anderson versus Finn Balor was ongoing, Rhea Ripley body slammed Doc Gallows on the outside and then gave Anderson a low blow to help Balor secure the win.

Johnny Gargano suffered a loss to Baron Corbin. Gargano had been toying around with JBL and wearing JBL’s hat. When Gargano was setting up for ‘One Final Beat’, JBL tripped him which gave Corbin the advantage.

Raw emanated from Charlotte, North Carolina and the state’s own Dale Earnhardt Jr. was in attendance.

On WWE Main Event, Von Wagner defeated Cedric Alexander and 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke bested NXT’s Kiana James.
