Wheeler Yuta off 10/28 AEW Rampage, comments on being ‘double booked’

Due to his commitment to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Wheeler Yuta is not able to compete on AEW Rampage as advertised

Wheeler Yuta comments on being booked for NJPW and AEW on 10/28.

Earlier this week, Wheeler Yuta was added to the NJPW Rumble on 44th Street event which is taking place on October 28th in New York City. Yuta is teaming with Homicide and Shota Umino to face Tom Lawlor, Royce Isaacs and Jorel Nelson.

Coming out of the 10/26 AEW Dynamite, it was announced that Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli would be taking on ‘Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard and ‘Cool Hand’ Angelo Parker on a live episode of Rampage this Friday. AEW pushed out a video on their digital platforms of Yuta commenting on being ‘double booked’.

He will make the NJPW date as he was advertised for that first, but Blackpool Combat Club member and reigning AEW World Champion Jon Moxley is going to be filling in. He’ll be taking on Matt Menard in singles action.

Tonight, New Japan is presenting ‘The Night Before Rumble on 44th Street’ which is a mystery card.
