Darby Allin vs. Jay Lethal (w/ Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh)

As Jay Lethal was making his way down to the ring, Darby Allin (who has his ribs all taped up) met him at the entranceway and started attacking him before eventually tossing him inside to start the match. They quickly end up back to the outside, as Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh make their way down to ringside. Darby goes to dive on Lethal, but Satnam is in his way. Lethal monkey flips Darby into the steel steps, before dragging him under the barricade and applying on the Figure Four. They take it to the apron, where Lethal grabs Darby’s ankle, slams it down, and hits a German Suplex on the apron as they go picture-in-picture.

When we come back, Lethal is in control as commentary brings up this mystery person who knows Darby’s weakness is the reason why Lethal is dominating. Lethal goes for the King’s Elbow but gets caught and into a pin attempt for a two. Darby dodges the Lethal Injection and puts on a rear naked chokehold. Lethal gets out, and Darby comes right back with a stunner. Darby goes for the Coffin Drop, but Lethal goes to the outside. Darby tries to dive onto Satnam but bounces right off, as Bryce Remsburg ejects Satnam and Dutt. We see someone who’s dressed as Sting attack Darby with a bat. Lethal follows with the Lethal Injection for the pin and the win.

Winner: Jay Lethal by pinfall at 9:06

Jeff Jarrett Arrives

The mystery ‘Sting’ enters the ring with a hood and mask on, and they take his mask off to reveal it’s Cole Karter. Sting’s music hits, but instead of Sting, Jeff Jarrett appears in the ring and takes out Darby with a guitar. Jarrett gets on the mic and says Darby got a lesson from The Last Outlaw and whatever Darby worships becomes his witness. And if he wants to worship Sting, it has become obvious that he has become his biggest weakness. Jarrett gives a message to the entire AEW roster and fanbase, that wherever the Jarretts went they left an ‘impact’. Jarrett names all his accolades as the crowd chants ‘you still suck’. Jarrett declares war as his original TNA ‘My World’ song starts playing.

Lesson in Pain & Perseverance

We go backstage to Jon Moxley who talks about loving this energy and it feels like a drug. Moxley talks about this being a big night for Lee Moriarty and the Blackpool Combat Club didn’t snub him. Moxley and Bryan Danielson just decided Moriarty is not mean and violent enough for the BCC but tonight he will give him a lesson in pain and perseverance and make him fight his way out and there’s only one way out, in him.

Being The Delete

We see a video of The Elite winning the Trios title, but cut to somebody who edits it out and replaces it with Death Triangle winning the Trios titles instead.

AEW World Championship Eliminator Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Lee Moriarty (w/ Stokely Hathaway)

William Regal accompanied Jon Moxley out but didn’t join commentary, Ethan Page did instead as The Firm brought out Lee Moriarty. Moxley goes right to Moriarty, hitting him in the corner with ten punches before taking him to the match and cranking on his neck. Moriarty takes control and hits a DDT as we go to the commercial.

When we come back, Moriarty is still in control hitting suplexes, including a bridge for a two count as he mounts Moxley with punches and starts to kick his face in as something starts happening in the crowd that takes the attention away from the match. The commentary reveals it players from the Baltimore Ravens (including their quarterback Lamar Jackson) distracted the crowd. They go back and forth trading stretches and pin attempts, before Moxley starts hitting elbows on Moriarty and into the juji gatame as Moriarty taps out.

Winner: Jon Moxley by submission at 10:06

Ethan Page makes his way to the ring and knocks out Jon Moxley as commentary hypes up him being in the tournament to crown a new #1 contender.

Sit Down With Saraya

They go to earlier today where Renee Paquette is sitting down with Saraya as they mention that Dr. Britt Baker DMD didn’t show up for this sit down. Saraya talks about how she had to wrestle the same day she got hit by a car and is rather upset that Baker didn’t bother showing up. Renee asks why now and AEW, as Saraya talks about it being special and AEW feeling like a rebel company and her being able to give more to it. Renee asks Saraya about her medical status but Saraya says she is going to save the answer for next week as there’s one more doctor she wants to consult.

The Real Demon

Tony Schiavone is backstage with William Regal and asks him about Jon Moxley and MJF at Full Gear, but says MJF still has a long way to go to become a true villain. Regal says MJF will have to face a real demon in Jon Moxley.

Daddy Ass Birthday Bash

Max Caster’s rap talks about it being Billy Gunn’s birthday and making Swerve Strickland pay like he’s Elon Musk. Billy Gunn’s hands are all taped up from his attack from Swerve on Rampage. Anthony Bowens says it’s been a tough weekend for them as ‘Sneaky’ Swerve did damage to Billy’s finger and now he can’t scissor. Bowens scissors the cameraman before Caster reveals brand new foam scissor fingers that Billy can use. They ask who from the crowd has gifts for Billy as they lift up their scissors. Caster heads to the floor and grabs a pair of homemade paper scissors from a fan.

They talk about all of Billy Gunn’s accomplishments and worst in his 2006 Worst Worked Match of the Year from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (TNA Reverse Battle Royal). They reveal a World’s Greatest Dad trophy and say they had special guests planned but some didn’t show up as they were upset he didn’t show up to their reunion. They reveal the last gift in a certificate of adoption to make Billy their official daddy, but before he can sign it, Austin & Colten Gunn come out. The Gunns are upset that they didn’t get invited to their dad’s birthday party but said they got him a gift anyway. W. Morrissey shows up from behind and takes out The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn. FTR’s music hits as they go to the ring, but The Gunns & Morrissey escape. FTR picked up the AEW World Tag Team titles but handed them over to The Acclaimed while having a bit of a staredown.

We Just Want to Wrestle

Tony Schiavone is backstage with Dr. Britt Baker DMD & Jamie Hayter as Baker said she is doing this interview on her time in her world as she’s been a victim of conspiracy for too long. Hayter is sick of this and just wants to wrestle, Baker agrees and tells them to find them a tag team to wrestle on Friday.

ROH World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) (w/ Daniel Garcia & Jake Hager) vs. Colt Cabana

Ian Riccaboni joins commentary for this match as Chris Jericho gets on the mic and talks about Claudio Castagnoli’s tainted victory over him last week made him mad and now he’s ready for an open challenge against any former Ring of Honor champion, and names all the titles as he doesn’t care what and would even whip Lamar Jackson’s ass. Colt Cabana comes out with a big reaction and a ‘welcome back’ chant. Cabana takes Jericho down right away with a couple of shoulder tackles and mounts him with punches before Jericho escapes to the outside to regroup with Daniel Garcia and Jake Hager. Cabana follows him to the outside, but Jericho tosses him inside and heads to the top rope. Cabana grabs him and tries the Chicago Skyline, but they both spill to the outside as we go to picture-in-picture.

When we come back Cabana is in control and hits a splash for a two-count. They go back and forth with Cabana dodging the Judas Effect, into the Billy Goat’s Curse followed by the Superman Pin but Hager breaks it up. Cabana takes out Hager and Garcia with a moonsault to the outside, but as he gets back inside Jericho hits him with the Code Breaker for the pin.

Winner: Chris Jericho by pinfall at 9:12, to retain

Ian Riccaboni stands from commentary to talk to Jericho, but Matt Menard and Angelo Parker grab him from behind as Jericho takes Riccaboni’s glasses and destroys them. Before Jericho can strike Riccaboni, Claudio Castagnoli runs out to attack Jericho but he’s outnumbered. Bryan Danielson joins in, but Sammy Guevara and Wheeler Yuta run out as both sides brawl before security tries to separate them.

It’s Hammer Time

Renee Paquette is backstage with Death Triangle as she asks Rey Fenix how he feels about possibly becoming a double champion tonight. The Lucha Brothers are excited, but PAC says if Fenix was real revenge he should use his hammer and think about it.

AEW All-Atlantic Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Luchasaurus (w/ Christian Cage) vs. Rey Fenix (w/ Alex Abrahantes)

The winner of this match could choose their dream match opponent for this Friday on Rampage in Atlantic City. Right away Rey Fenix and Orange Cassidy work together and take Luchasaurus to the outside with a double dropkick. Fenix and Cassidy go at it, as Fenix runs the ropes and jumps off the ropes for an arm drag before Cassidy comes back with a spinning DDT for a two-count. As they face off, Luchasaurus re-enters and takes them both down with a shoulder tackle and stays in control as they go to picture-in-picture.

When we come back, Christian Cage has joined commentary as Luchasaurus drives Cassidy into the steel steps and chokeslams Fenix through the time keeper’s table. Luchasaurus brings Cassidy to the top of the ramp to chokeslam him off of it, but Jack Perry attacks Luchasaurus from behind with a chair. Perry runs Christian off before hitting Luchasaurus with a crossbody off the stage crashing into a table. PAC runs out and gives his hammer to Fenix and tells him to use it but Fenix tosses it back to him. Cassidy and Fenix trade pin attempts before Orange catches Fenix with the Orange Punch for the pin.

Winner: Orange Cassidy by pinfall at 9:57, to retain

Katsuyori Shibata Is Here

PAC enters the ring and starts attacking Cassidy, but we hear the music of Katsuyori Shibata as he comes out with the Best Friends and Rocky Romero to run off PAC. Shibata points at Orange and his championship, as Orange hands him the dream match contract that Shibata signs as the match is official for Rampage this Friday night.

Rick Ross in Our Glory

Tony Schiavone is backstage with Swerve Strickland and Rick Ross who are celebrating while drinking champagne. Keith Lee enters and says that Swerve hasn’t responded to his text messages and calls but Ross says it’s all about positivity. Lee asks who was behind the camera when he attacked Billy Gunn, but Swerve changes the topic and proposes an eight man tag match for next week between Swerve in Our Glory & The Gunns vs. FTR & The Acclaimed.

AEW TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (c) (w/ Leila Grey) vs. Marina Shafir

Just as the match starts, Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrero come out and start talking over this match and tell commentary that they have this. Nyla starts talking while eating potato chips (John Pollock’s worst nightmare). Jade doesn’t let this bother her as she takes Marina down with a kick and follows with Jaded for the quick win.

Winner: Jade Cargill by pinfall at 2:18, to retain

Kiera Hogan tries to take the title from Nyla Rose, but Rose takes her down. Jade is upset at Kiera, and just walks over her and heads to the back.

The Worship of Death

We see a promo for the House of Black and question what has become of them and what have we all done as we see Julia Hart placing wooden crosses over the bodies of Brody King, Buddy Matthews, and Malakai Black. The narration continues by saying now comes the worship of death and all must end so that all can suffer anew. We hear Malakai talk to end this spooky segment.

They start the match trying to take each other down with shoulder tackles, before Samoa Joe ducks a clothesline and knocks Brian Cage down. Joe stays in control and hits an elbow drop, but Cage kicks out at one. Cage stops Joe’s punches and sends him in the corner, hitting him with a German Suplex as they go to picture-in-picture.

When we come back, Cage dives onto Joe to the outside before heading back inside to pose. Joe comes back with punches, but Cage stops him with a kick before running into a chop and a Manhattan drop. Joe follows with a boot and a senton for a two count. Cage comes back with a twisting elbow drop to Joe for a two count. Cage stays in control and hits a discuss lariat for another two. Joe comes back and puts on a sleeper hold as Cage taps out.

Winner: Samoa Joe by submission at 11:24, to retain

The Gates of Agony run out and start attacking Samoa Joe, but Wardlow makes his way out and runs off The Embassy. As Wardlow has his back turned, Powerhouse Hobbs comes from behind and takes out Wardlow.
