NXT falls to four-week low, ranks #22 on cable against World Series & NBA

NXT saw a small decrease in airing against the World Series on Tuesday night.

The November 1st edition of the show averaged 670,000 viewers and approximately 170,000 (0.13) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

The program ranked #22 among cable originals, which was led by the Chicago Bulls vs. Brooklyn Nets game that averaged 1.26 million viewers and 0.48 in the 18-49 demo and aired head-to-head with NXT.

Television was dominated by Game 3 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and Philadephia Phillies with 11.16 million viewers watching the game on Fox including a 2.6 rating in the 18-49 demo.

NXT fell 6% in viewership and 11% in the key demo from last week’s numbers. It was the show’s lowest number since October 4th.

The largest declines were among its female audience with women 18-49 dropping by 26% this week with its lowest audience in that demo since September 13th. Females 12-34 dropped by 18% this week.

On the other hand, males 18-49 were virtually identical to last week and the same with adults 18-34 with both demos up 1%.

Adults 35-49 fell by 21% and 50+ were only down by 2.5%.

In Canada, the show didn’t air live on Sportsnet 360 and streamed on its Sportsnet NOW. The show aired later that night at Midnight ET and averaged approximately 20,000 viewers and 4,000 in the 25-54 demographic.
