IMPACT on AXS notes: Alan Angels & Big Kon join Violent By Design, X Division Title, Mickie-Chelsea

New members of Violent By Design revealed, X Division Title tourney semifinals, Mickie James vs. Chelsea, Eddie Edwards buries PCO alive

As the singles match between Eric Young and Sami Callihan was ongoing, Callihan was crowded by a group of individuals in yellow hoodies. Two of them were revealed to be Alan Angels and former NXT Tag Team Champion Big Kon. They are now a part of Violent By Design with Young and Cody Deaner.

A new IMPACT X Division Champion is going to be crowned at ‘Over Drive’ on November 18th. ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey bested Kenny King and on ‘Before the IMPACT’, P.J. Black defeated Yuya Uemura to advance to the semifinals. Next week, Trey Miguel is facing Bailey to determine who heads to the final round.

Gisele Shaw opted to leave Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green’s group ‘VXT’. Shaw is scheduled for the 11/10 IMPACT on AXS in a title match against Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace.

There is going to be a second championship match on the program next week when Brian Myers defends the Digital Media Title against Joe Hendry.

The rivalry between Eddie Edwards and PCO reached its next chapter as Eddie ‘buried’ PCO alive.

 

Mickie James is taking on Chelsea Green in singles competition next week. Taylor Wilde offered to be in Mickie’s corner to offset Deonna Purrazzo, but Mickie decline Taylor’s help.

In the main event of the program, Frankie Kazarian and IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander defeated Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis).

As Moose and Ace Austin were going one-on-one, there was an unrequested distraction from Bully Ray on Moose. As a result, Ace was able to pin Moose.
