The show began with Liv Morgan defeating Sonya Deville in a No DQ match via her Oblivion finisher on a pile of chairs.
Backstage, Emma was being interviewed by Megan Morant when she was interrupted by Xia Li. Li called Emma weak and Emma responded with a forearm to the Xia Li’s face leaving her dazed.

Another Viking Raiders promo package aired featuring what appeared to be Sarah Logan painting the Raiders’ faces.
LA Knight defeated Ricochet by holding Ricochet’s tights as well as the ropes during a roll-up pin.
Backstage Sami Zayn tried but failed to convince Jey Uso not to go to the ring to call out The Brawling Brutes.
Bray Wyatt appeared backstage and was interrupted by a WWE production person coming through the background of the shot. Bray went off on him and demanded an apology. While this was going on, cut-ins of Uncle Howdy started being intercut with the footage saying “it’s all your fault”. The production person apologized and the segment ended with a tease of more to come from Bray at Crown Jewel.

The Usos’ in-ring promo was interrupted by The New Day. Kofi & Xavier said that if The Usos survive the Brawling Brutes’ championship challenge, the second they’re back from Saudi Arabia they had “next”. The Brawling Brutes jumped The Usos from behind and New Day and The Brutes ganged up on The Usos until Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa arrived to even the odds.
Backstage Rey Mysterio was interviewed saying that he was going to show Dominick that you have to keep fighting and he was going to chop Gunther down to size to become the new Intercontinental Champion.
Shayna Baszler (accompanied by Ronda Rousey) defeated Natalya via Kirifuda Clutch. After the match, Rousey directed Baszler to knee Natalya in the face leading to Natalya being busted open.

MVP announced he had arranged five opponents for Braun Strowman tonight. Before the five men could get to the ring, Strowman ran out and steamrolled all five of them. Braun then turned his attention to MVP and demolished him with multiple running power slams.

A Legado del Fantasma promo aired with Santos Escobar and Zelina Vega saying they were going to take out Shinsuke Nakamura next week on SmackDown.
In the main event, Gunther defeated Rey Mysterio clean to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
