Austin Theory no longer in possession of Money in the Bank.
WWE United States Champion Seth Rollins hosted an open challenge on tonight’s Raw after his first one was put on hold due to the ongoing rivalry between The O.C. and The Judgment Day.
In the main event, Rollins awaited his next opponent and Mustafa Ali popped up on the titantron. Ali was then taken out by Bobby Lashley, who Rollins defeated for the title after Brock Lesnar took Lashley out.
Lashley ambushed Rollins before the match started and ended up putting him through an announce table. Mr. Money in the Bank Austin Theory made his way to the ringside area and cashed in his contract. After multiple finishing maneuvers, Theory was not able to put Rollins away but he made one more attempt and that potential three count was stopped by Lashley.
Lashley beat down Theory on the outside which led to the referee starting his ten count. Theory was able to beat the count but was met with a ‘Curb Stomp’ when he got back in the ring and Rollins retained his title.

Theory had been in possession of the Money in the Bank briefcase since winning it at the Money in the Bank event over the summer. Before NXT Halloween Havoc, Theory appeared on NXT TV and teased cashing in for the NXT Championship.
