WWE Raw notes: Austin Theory ambushes Rollins after U.S. Title defense, women’s WarGames, Lumis-Miz

Notes coming out of the November 14th edition of Monday Night Raw

In the main event of the 11/14 Raw, Seth Rollins was able to retain the United States Championship over Finn Balor. There was a brawl between The Judgment Day and The O.C. on the outside. While the referee was distracted, A.J. Styles pushed Balor off the top rope which led to Rollins securing the win.

Rollins was immediately attacked by Austin Theory, who unsuccessfully cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Rollins. Earlier in the show, Theory explained his mindset when attempting that cash-in and then went on to beat down Dolph Ziggler in their match which he was disqualified for.

The field for the women’s WarGames match is almost complete. It’ll be Bayley, Rhea Ripley, Nikki Cross and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai and IYO SKY taking on Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Mia Yim, Asuka, Alexa Bliss and one final participant. On the 11/21 show, one member from each team will go one-on-one to determine who gets the WarGames advantage.

For the ‘Main Event’ taping prior to Raw, J.D. McDonagh bested Cedric Alexander and then Asuka defeated Kiana James.

Scheduled for the 11/28 program is a singles match between Dexter Lumis and The Miz. If Lumis wins, he gets the money he’s owed from Miz and a WWE contract.

Bobby Lashley defeated Mustafa Ali in convincing fashion. Ali is scheduled to face Ricochet in the WWE World Cup tournament this Friday on SmackDown.

There was a singles match between Chad Gable and Matt Riddle that Gable was victorious in. He received help from Otis to secure the win.
