NXT scored its largest key demo audience in four weeks with a big increase of female viewers in the 18-49 audience.
The November 15th edition featuring two title matches averaged 633,000 viewers and approximately 222,000 (0.17) in the 18-49 demo with data from Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.
Overall viewership fell 5% from last week and was its lowest average since October 4th but was offset by a 14% increase among its 18-49 audience, which was its highest mark since October 18th with a show bolstered by numerous main roster appearances.
The big increase of the week was among females 18-49, which increased by69% from last week and was the highest the demo has scored since Sept. 20, 2021, for the second week of the NXT 2.0 rebranding.
On the other hand, males 18-49 dropped by 11% this week, its lowest since October 4th.
Adults 35-49 grew by 23% this week and adults 50+ declined by 8%.
NXT ranked #26 among cable originals on Tuesday and aired against the college basketball game between Kentucky and Michigan State (2.03 million, 0.54 in 18-49 and #3 on cable), and the New Orleans Pelicans vs. Memphis Grizzlies game (1.04 million, 0.37 in 18-49 and #5). Fox News programming also had a boost due to the announcement by Donald Trump that he will be running again in 2024.
In Canada, NXT on Sportsnet 360 averaged approximately 62,000 viewers and 25,000 in the 25-54 demographic, which represented increases of 22% and 47% respectively from last week. While the show didn’t rank among the top ten sports programs on Tuesday, it was the most-watched episode of NXT on Sportsnet 360 since April.
This week’s NT was loaded up with the Last Woman Standing match for the women’s title between Mandy Rose and Alba Fyre, an NXT Championship between Bron Breakker and Von Wagner, and an announcement by Shawn Michaels.
