Mercedes Martinez has been cleared to return to action.

The ROH Women’s Champion has been inactive since July due to injury with AEW president Tony Khan stating on Thursday’s media call that Martinez was cleared on Wednesday to return.

Martinez became the interim ROH women’s champion in April at ROH’s Supercard of Honor by defeating Willow Nightingale and became the undisputed champion when she beat Deonna Purrazzo on the May 4th edition of Dynamite in Baltimore, Maryland.

Martinez most recently defended the championship at Death Before Dishonor in July when she beat Serena Deeb in Lowell, Massachusetts.

The next ROH pay-per-view is Final Battle on December 10th from Arlington, Texas but no matches have been announced yet.
