On Thursday night’s edition of IMPACT Wrestling, Black Taurus qualified for the finals of the X Division Tournament.
In the opening match, Black Taurus pinned PJ Black in the semi-final match with Destination Hellhole and won in six minutes and nineteen seconds.
Black Taurus will advance to the final against Trey Miguel on Friday night at Over Drive to determine who will be the next X Division champion.
After winning the title at Bound for Glory, Frankie Kazarian invoked “Option C” and gave up the title in exchange for a shot at IMPACT champion Josh Alexander, which also takes place at Over Drive.
Thursday’s episode included the contract signing between Alexander and Kazarian, who were joined by their wives, Jenn and Traci.
The two got into an argument over who would win on Friday night and were joined by Bully Ray, who insisted he could be trusted, which Kazarian didn’t believe.
Later in the night, Steve Maclin pinned Tommy Dreamer and was going to attack Dreamer further when Bully made the save. This prompted Moose to assist Maclin and eventually, Alexander ran down and fought them off alongside Bully Ray.
In the main event of the show, Sami Callihan pinned Eric Young in a Death Machine Double Jeopardy match where Callihan prevailed in a very bloody match. The closing scene saw the bloodied Young laid out on the mat as Violent by Design members Deaner, Alan Angels, and Kon stood over him.
