** Sam Roberts welcomed Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair onto the Notsam Wrestling podcast. She was asked for her thoughts about the idea of facing Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania and Belair is game for it. She still has her sights set on defeating all of WWE’s Four Horsewomen and Charlotte Flair is last on the list.

I mean of course [I’d be up to face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania]. I feel the same way. Any time Rhea Ripley and I get in the ring together, we make magic and I feel like we did some amazing things in NXT together and then we came up to Raw and SmackDown and we’ve been on both sides doing amazing things, like opposite sides of this mountain top, trying to reach to the top. So, that would be amazing. I always considered Rhea Ripley and I a WrestleMania match, a feud that can go down in history as one of the best feuds that women have had. I would love to have a WrestleMania match with Rhea. That’s a dream match of mine to have at WrestleMania but I will say I still have my goal of taking down all four Horsewomen so I still have Charlotte Flair that I need to take down. So, either, whether it’s Charlotte, Rhea, I have so many WrestleMania matches that I wanna have but Rhea Ripley’s definitely the top of the list and she’s showing out right now on Raw so it’s like, you know, when we crossed paths last week, I’m like, hmm, you know, I knew this was coming. I knew this was coming. We’ll see what happens.

At Crown Jewel, Belair bested Bayley in a Last Woman Standing match. Bianca shared that she was emotional after the bout and those emotions derived from a positive place.

A lot of times, I feel like I’m on autopilot where I’m just pushing through and trying to get to what’s next and you really have to stop and reflect on what’s happening and how big moments are and that actually happened to me after the match in Saudi Arabia. I got backstage and just, I broke down and a lot of people were coming up to me like, ‘Oh my God, are you okay?’ And I’m like, ‘No, they’re happy tears, it’s good tears’ because everything happens so fast and you really have to soak in the moments and realize how big the moments are. But then you get right back on the plane and you go to Raw and now, like you said, challenging people to WarGames and on to the next, the next big thing so, it’s always just pushing forward and moving through but trying to take the little moments and stop and reflect on how big the moments really are.

** In the main event of NWA Hard Times 3, Tyrus bested Trevor Murdoch and Matt Cardona in a Triple Threat to become Worlds Heavyweight Champion. On the newest edition The Tyrus and Timpf Podcast, Tyrus commented on his title win and recalled feeling like he did not deserve it but Tim Storm assured him that he did. Tyrus went on to add that he feels his presence and style of wrestling would have fit better in the pre-2000s era.

Tyrus: I consider Trevor [Murdoch] one of those guys, if he was in that era with Harley [Race] and Dick Murdoch and those guys, that he would have the same stature that he has today. Just being real, just being real, because I like to think of myself, whenever the old timers see me, the first thing they tell me is how much money they could make with me… And this is my point, my point was I had missed that boat. I didn’t have the [Hulk] Hogan — I realized in my WWE career, I got to wrestle each top guy once, just once and I had great matches and I’d come back and Arn [Anderson] would be like, ‘See?’ I remember the CM Punk match. When I came back, Arn was like, ‘See? You play at a high level.’ All right, I can’t wait to see what happens next and it was nothing happens next. So, I always would say I’m in the wrong era. It’s nothing against me, bust my ass, I don’t fit in now, I would have fit in then. So fitting in that night [NWA Hard Times 3] was — and I’m the guy who never has a problem, never gives a f*ck, but it was tough for me and for [Tim] Storm to say, he goes, ‘Hearing you say you didn’t deserve it is the reason why you deserve it because I felt the same way and I guarantee you Trevor felt the same way.’ So there was a, you know, okay, I’m not crazy, or I’m not self-deprecating or looking for someone to say, ‘No, you’re a good champ.’ I ain’t defended it yet.

Trevor Murdoch chimed on the conversation and commented on losing the NWA Worlds Title.

Murdoch: Emotions did take over. I don’t want that to take away from what happened at the finish of it [NWA Hard Times 3 main event]. What I’m gonna say about this is you know this as well as I do, winning that championship is the most important thing in our business. What I can say is I’m glad that the better man won it. If I was gonna lose, I lost to a good man that beat me, that earned it, that deserves it, that’s gonna go out and take that worlds title and represent it with honor and respect and won’t — you know, you’re a big man and you ain’t an easy fight Tyrus, you never have been. So, from one champion to the next, congratulations bro. You are our NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion.

** As Roman Reigns was being profiled by The Ringer, he told the outlet he believes he could be a top star in any era of wrestling and questioned if the top talents of those respective times could handle the pressure of the current age.

All those guys that you named off, could they do what they did right now? I know I could do it back then. I know if you sent me to the ’40s, ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, 2000s, I’m going to be a top guy, I’m going to be a centerpiece. But could they come into this world? Could they handle the burden and the pressure of 2022, of the modern day? I just don’t think they could. And that’s no disrespect to anybody. I had the advantage of looking at all their bodies of work, going through that, learning from it, and then being able to adjust everything as need be, so I can do what I’ve done.

** Kiera Hogan went live on Instagram and when a chat user asked about Saraya, Kiera shared how excited she was when she saw Saraya debut for AEW at Dynamite Grand Slam.

Saraya is literally, literally the sweetest f*cking human being. I screamed when I saw she was gonna be in AEW. When she appeared, I screamed in the locker room in New York. I love her. She’s so sweet and like, she remembered me and I was like, ‘You love me? I love you. What do you mean?’ [Hogan laughed]

** There’s an interview with Adrian Street on the Wrestling With Johners YouTube channel. Street recounted his experience coaching NXT U.K. talents.

In actual fact, whenever they [WWE] come over, they include us. The last wrestling I did actually was NXT UK. [Miss] Linda and I went to Newton Abbot. They’re based in Newton Abbot. They don’t do anything by halves. I’ll tell you what, everything they did was fantastic. John Moss, Johnny Saint, they were all at Newton Abbot and we were teaching the new NXT wrestlers, the superstars. So that actually extended my wrestling career by a number of years. 61 years as a pro.
