NJPW has announced an additional Wrestle Kingdom event in January.

After running the Tokyo Dome on January 4th, the promotion will stage a second Wrestle Kingdom card at the Yokohama Arena on January 21st.

From NJPW:

The Wrestle Kingdom 17 party will not be finished with the Tokyo Dome!

After January 8 2022 saw a third night of Wrestle Kingdom sell out the Yokohama Arena, January 21 will see this special festival of an event for the second year.

This year, NJPW and Pro-Wrestling NOAH collided on a card full of interpromotional battles. What does this special night have in store for 2023? Stay tuned for more information!

In 2022, the promotion ran three Wrestle Kingdom branded events with back-to-back nights at the Tokyo Dome followed by an inter-promotional event with Pro Wrestling NOAH.

The Yokohama Arena card will take place one day before NOAH’s “Great Muta Final Bye Bye” event in the same arena. On that card, Muta will team with Sting & Darby Allin.
