Kazuchika Okada and Jay White to compete in tag match ahead of Wrestle Kingdom 17

The main eventers will take part in a six-man tag at the finals of the NJPW World Tag League.

The NJPW World Tag League finals will include a preview of the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 17.

Kazuchika Okada and Jay White will compete in a special six-man tag match at the event at Sendai Sunplaza Hall on December 14th, which also sees the finals of the Super Junior Tag League finals.

The match will see Okada, Tama Tonga & Master Wato go up against White, Taiji Ishimori & Gedo.

White defeated Okada at Dominion 2022 to become IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. Okada earned the Wrestle Kingdom 17 challenge with his G1 Climax victory. Wrestle Kingdom 17 takes place at the Tokyo Dome on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023.
