This will be Velasquez’s first match since Triplemanía Regia in December 2021.
Velasquez is out on bail and a judge granted him permission to perform at the show. Cain is facing multiple charges including attempted murder. Velasquez fired a weapon at Harry Goularte, who is being accused of molesting Velasquez’s then four-year-old child.
The two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion is being allowed to travel without G.P.S. monitoring but had to hire a police officer to watch over him. He’ll return from Arizona on December 4th.
