The topic of William Regal will be addressed on the pre-ROH Final Battle media call and on Dynamite.

After helping MJF defeat Jon Moxley to become AEW World Champion at Full Gear, William Regal was present in-ring with MJF on Dynamite for the reveal of the new AEW World Title belt.

Before the segment was over, MJF ambushed Regal from behind and he had to be ‘taken to a hospital’. Coming out of that, it was reported by Fightful Select that Regal is ‘effectively done’ with AEW and PWInsider added that he was finalizing a new deal with WWE

AEW issued a press release and noted that William Regal’s status will be addressed on the pre-ROH Final Battle media call on Wednesday. Tony Khan gave a storyline update on Regal while on the Battleground Podcast and added that the former Blackpool Combat Club member’s status will also be addressed on Dynamite.

Yes, we’ll be updating the fans on his [William Regal’s] status on Wednesday night Dynamite and absolutely, very concerning situation and very much MJF showing his true colors that Lord Regal made a deal with the devil and MJF certainly lived up to his end of that deal and now MJF, the world champion will appear live on Dynamite. We will have an update on Lord Regal’s condition and you know, it’s a serious situation and it was some very compelling wrestling television. Certainly, Lord Regal’s longtime protégé, one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all-time, Bryan Danielson was beside himself and accompanied Lord Regal to the hospital in the ambulance. It was a really serious situation and absolutely will address that on Dynamite.
