Five-way tie following Super Jr. Tag League card in Ehime

Chris Bey and Ace Austin lost their second Super Jr. Tag League match, causing a five-way tie with one week to go.

In the main event of Wednesday’s card in Nagasaki, El Lindaman & Alex Zayne defeated Bey & Austin after a German Jackknife cover on Austin.

Both teams leave the show with 6-2 records, twelve points each, and one match remaining.

The two teams are tied with Titan and BUSHI, Lio Rush & YOH, and IWGP Jr. Heavyweight tag champions TJP & Francesco Akira.

The tag champions defeated KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight with the 2×2 on Wednesday’s show. At the same time, Rush & YOH beat Ryusuke Taguchi & Clark Connors, and Titan & BUSHI defeated Robbie Eagles & Tiger Mask.

The final set of round-robin matches in the Super Jr. Tag League takes place on Friday in Ehime with Alez Zayne & El Lindaman vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru & DOUKI, Ryusuke Taguchi & Clark Connors vs. SHO & Dick Togo, TJP & Francesco Akira vs. Chris Bey & Ace Austin, BUSHI & Titan vs. Lio Rush 7 YOH, and Robbie Eagles & Tiger Mask vs. KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight.

The top two teams will meet next Wednesday in Sendai in the finals.
