TMDK’s Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste beat Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis on Friday and moving TMDK to 6-2 with twelve points and creating a tie for second place with Tetsuya Naito & SANADA, and Bishamon’s Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI.
Naito & SANADA beat Minoru Suzuki & Lance Archer while Goto & YOSHI-HASHI defeated Gabriel Kidd & Alex Coughlin on Friday to earn their 6-2 records and equal TMDK’s.
The last set of round-robin matches take place on Sunday and the top two teams will meet in the final next Wednesday in Sendai.
Aussie Open has no matches remaining but will be tied for first and therefore, part of Wednesday’s final.
The key matches on Sunday will be TMDK vs. Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI with both teams vying for first place. Tetsuya Naito & SANADA will take on EVIL & Yujiro.
