Veteran English wrestler Trent Seven appeared on AEW Rampage on Friday night.
Seven was announced as a surprise challenger for Orange Cassidy’s All-Atlantic Championship by Kip Sabian.
The move came after Sabian declined a championship match on Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite, but agreed to find an alternate challenger for Rampage.
Cassidy successfully defended the belt, but was attacked by Sabian and Seven after the match, with Dustin Rhodes making the save.
An incredible victory for @orangecassidy to retain the #AEW All-Atlantic Title but @TheKipSabian wastes no time in assaulting the Champ!#AEWRampage is on TNT right now! pic.twitter.com/Mi9FmTl3eC

Trent Seven previously performed in both NXT and NXT UK as a member of Mustache Mountain with Tyler Bate.
The 41-year-old was released by WWE in August after the announcement that NXT UK was shuttering ahead of next year’s planned launch of NXT Europe.
